WHO WE ARE:

Concept Masonry is a commercial masonry sub-contractor that operates in the Greater Triangle area of North Carolina.  Our customers and clients seek us out based on our honesty, integrity, high quality work and competitive pricing.

Concept Masonry, Incorporated was started in April 1994 by James Gurley. James had a vision of becoming not only the best, but also the most respected masonry sub-contractor in the Triangle area. With the help of his two sons, James Jr. and Michael, James was able to make this vision a reality. James Sr. has been in the construction industry for well over 28 years. Combined, our Owners, Project Managers and Superintendents bring over 116 years of experience to the brick mason and construction fields.

Concept Masonry currently employs an average of 40 employees. We have 3 Estimators, 3 Project Managers, 4 Field Superintendents, and we run about 4 crews of 8-10 masons and laborers. As the dynamics of the jobs and projects change, the structuring of crews also changes. We strive to meet the expectations of all our clients at all times. Concept Masonry, Incorporated has operated in the Triangle area for over fifteen years. We perform work under ANSI Division 4 Masonry and have completed Office Buildings, Retail Centers, Institutional Facilities, Distributional and Industrial Buildings, and Multi-family Housing. We are a privately held and locally owned and operated commercial masonry sub-contractor.

Concept Masonry is a NC Masonry Contractors Association (NCMCA) Certified Masonry Contractor. We have three Project Managers that are designated NCMCA Certified Masonry Executives and four Superintendents that are designated NCMCA Certified Masonry Professionals.

Our top priority is safety; and we are committed to quality construction and completing projects on schedule and within budget.

Concept Masonry, Incorporated exists to provide Central North Carolina with Division 4 Masonry in the commercial realm of construction. We desire to maintain our reputation as quality masons in the area. By maintaining quality employees with excellent work ethic, professional attitudes and moral standards, we are able to provide Central NC with only the best commercial masonry.
